I have a problem, I have 3 wheels and can’t find a 4th to finish the set. I found a website that sells refurbished OEM wheels and has one in stock. Has anyone used autorimship.com, and does anyone have experience with refurbished wheels?

Looking for OEM style 219M wheels off the E9x M3, specifically 1 front 18x8.5 et29 wheel in gunmetal.

i made the mistake of buying a refurb once and ended up with a wheel that was pretty severely bent. it must have been rashed pretty hard because it was repainted nice but was bent to hell and i couldn't return it. i needed the rim because i cracked one and even though it was bent it was better than what i had.

I found you the wheel you need using car-part.com. It’s on this wrecked M3 convertible at LoneStar Imports in Houston.

Their site isn’t loading on my phone, but i’m gonna give them a look and call once I get to my laptop.. Thanks! Do you think the wheel took any damage in that accident? Also, did it display a price?

I’m actually right outside DC. But yeah, these are the stock 18's on the M3. The pictures above are of a squared set of rears. How do you like your E90?

The price wasn’t listed on car-part.com and the site for the salvage yard just has their contact info. Their phone number is 713-785-5151. I think if you tell them the code number written on the car, LS5946, and that you want a front wheel, they should be able to tell you more info. Here’s the only closeup of one of the wheels on car-part.com.

I absolutely love it, you know some people say not to meet your heros, I wanted an M3 since I was 13, and after driving it for almost 2 years now, it’s better than I could have ever imagined

Thanks, gave them a call but unfortunately they would only sell me the set of 4. So hard to find 1 single wheel!

So, just out of curiosity, did you get a price on the set? I’m shopping for wheels for my E92 335i xDrive and while I was leaning toward 19s, the M3 18s are the right widths for the tire sizes I want to run.

Yeah they offered me the set for $1500. I’ve been looking at these wheels for a while, and that’s not out of line for a set, but if you look on M3post or E90post it’s really easy to find a clean set of 4 for around $1000.

I bought 2 rears from a seller for $200, and found 1 flawless front wheel from a local seller cleaning out his garage for $75. So for $275 I’m 3/4's the way there, and I saved a ridiculous amount of money.

Also, the 18's are a slightly aggressive fitment, what tires did you want to run? 235/40 front with a 265/35 rear is what I'll probably be going with, but it might require a slight fender roll in the rear.

That's awesome man, IMO the E9x M3 is one of the best cars to buy right now. Any mods or are you just keeping it stock?

The wheels I’m just about ready to pull the trigger on are 19x8.5" +32 with 235/35-19 in front and 19x9.5" +32 with 275/30-19 in back. I’m also doing coilovers with camber plates in front so I should be able to make everything fit without any fender rolling.

Nice, good looking wheels. Check out apex if you want some lightweight wheels for tracking/winter use. What coilovers are you going with? If you want a little more camber up front and awesome turn-in response, think about getting M3 control arms.

I’m going to use my stock 193M wheels for winter.

Doing Sonic Tuning S3 coilovers , long story short they are by far the cheapest viable option with adjustable damping, camber plates, and made out of some material that won’t rust in winter (aluminum in this case).

The awd front suspension is all different from the rwd cars so the control arms don’t interchange with M3 bits. But I’m doing Strongflex front tension arm bushings (part #9 in this diagram) to firm up the steering response. They’re in Poland and the only company that makes upgraded bushings for the E9x awd front suspension.

Nice, sonic tuning is actually a local vendor to me. I've been by their shop a few times for quotes and what not. I think if you contact pat through e90post he can cut you a really good deal on coilovers.

Was gonna modify after I paid it off, then my second car needed to be replaced so I did that, was finally getting around to getting exhaust for it and then I got laid off, so yeah gonna find a new job then get somethings for it, probably a dinan or UUC exhaust, UUC is located like 15 mins from my parents house

Props for being financially responsible about it, lots of stuff happens. If you want moar sound for cheap, look up the OEM exhaust mod. People figured out how to cut the stock exhaust to make it sound just like the BMW performance exhaust.

Think I’m just gonna wait and get an aftermarket one, although the BMW performance one sounds pretty awesome on my dads 135is sounds amazing, if I get a job in the next month I'll have plenty for an exhaust
